'I want a lime green cat with hot pink wings.' Do you now? Well, that's a pity. We do have limits here, so cats stay unique. Plus, we can't have two dozen pink cats running around.
WINGS:
Only Clan Cats have wings. These wings are a blessing from StarClan, so cats outside the Clan will not receive them. Leave the Clan, and your wings will shrink, and one day just become part of your fur. Loners that join a Clan may receive wings if they believe in StarClan, and StarClan gives them to that cat.
Cats are not born with wings. For the first five moons of their life, they are wingless. No exceptions. At five moons old, they slowly start to grow them. When these cats are kits, they cannot fly. Their wings are not strong enough.
When a cat is announced an apprentice, their wings are strong enough to hold them airborne, but not long. The wings are still really small, but will continue to grow larger as they train.
About 10 moons old, a cat will have full grown wings. So the remaining training time is mostly focused on using their wings to their advantage, since they are not getting any bigger.
Wings will not shrink in size or anything as they get older, nor change in color. A cat's muzzle may turn gray, but the wings will stay as bright as they were as a young warrior.
The only exception of color changing wings are a medicine cat's. No matter what color wings a medicine cat has, when they receive their full name, the wings will turn white. Some medicine cats have colored points at the tips of the wings, the points being the color the wings were before changing color. These white wings signify that this medicine cat has the full approval from StarClan. Some cats even say medicine cats have white wings because they are StarClan's angels.
PELT COLORS:
Yes, cats can have odd colored fur. But we have limits here. Cats can only have one odd color on their pelt. Example: Gray cat with pale yellow stripes. No bright colors, unless bought. Normal eye colors are applied, no purple, pink or red eyes.
Wings match the cat somehow. If you have a black and white cat, it can have black wings, or black and white wings. The only cats with pure white wings (with or without colored tips) are medicine cats. Leaders, no matter what colored wings they have, have gold tipped wings. This signifies StarClan's blessing, and the fact they are leader of a Clan. No other cat can have gold in their wings, no exceptions.
However, you can buy extra colors and special colored eyes in the Store Shop. It does cost feathers though! You can earn feathers by posting, so save up.
