Name: Fawnfeather
Age: 24 Moons
Clan: FlightClan
Rank: Warrior
Gender: She-cat
Picture: Clickyy.
Quick Appearance: Long-haired cat with light golden fur and jade eyes.
Appearance:
Head; Fawnfeather has a triangular shaped head and face, her chin being slightly pointed while her ears splay out slightly, like double corners. The very short, fuzzy fur on the back of the ears is a very light off-white color, which descends into the eyebrows and cheekbones. The bridge of her nose is pure white, as well as her mouth and chin. The rest of her face, neck, and the back of her head is a very light golden color, with darker hairs flowing underneath. She has very long, white whiskers as well as a pair of round, deep green eyes.
Body; Fawnfeather is an average sized cat, with a medium sized bone structure and long, strong legs. From the shoulders to the tip of her tail, this she-cat is covered with long, thick fur that is the color of honey and white. Her tail is very thick, and the fur stands on end to make it fluffy. Each long leg is much lighter than her pelt, reflecting the color of her underbelly, which is a cross between off-white and light yellow.
Wings; Fawnfeather has long wings that sprout from her shoulder blades and fall around her body like a curtain. Each feather is a shinning, very light brown-and-white color, much like the color of her fur. They actually resemble the color of an owl. Her wingspan is quite large, and when unfurled they make her look slightly majestic.
Personality:
The Outside; Do not let this pretty-colored, bright-eyed she-cat fool you into thinking that she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.. for she isn't. Fawnfeather does have the tendency to put on a great show of being ever so kind and willing to help everyone around her. She generally comes off as calm and collected, and rarely picks a fight or raises her voice at the apprentices. She doesn't associate with other Clan cats much, finding that they don't bother her and are not worth the concern. Fawnfeather really does seem like the sociable, well-mannered and respectful warrior she should be.
The Inside; Those bright eyes hold more than just a gleam of curiosity, they mask what lies beneath the surface. Underneath all of that sickly sweetness, the gleaming smiles and kind words sits an atomic bomb of spitefulness, hatred, and arrogance. Fawnfeather may believe in StarClan as much as the next warrior, but her faiths and beliefs in everything else are a little twisted. She thirsts for leadership and power beyond that rank, hungers for obedience and control. She plays the good little cat that she knows she should be, but she does everything for herself. If she helps someone, it is so that they are in her debt. If she doesn't rat out an apprentice for not doing their duties, it is so they must have her back on something as well. Her mind works very differently from the next, and perhaps it is only a matter of time before her true colors show.
History:
Kithood; Swanpelt and Duststripe had three kits. A dark gray one with lighter stripes, like his father. Graykit. A silvery she-kit with darker ears and paws, Smokekit. And a golden-white she-kit who didn't exactly look like either parent. Fawnkit. The litter was raised like any other, with strict rules and a lot of love and attention. The three played together, ate together, and slept with their bodies curled around each other. The had a normal first six moons, adventuring out of the nursery and seeing how many senior warriors and elders they could anger in a day or seeing how far they could go before Swanpelt scolded them for it.
Apprenticeship; Fawnpaw grew into her apprentice duties easily. She looked forward to waking up and training with her mentor, learning new battle moves and how to hunt different types of prey. Looking after the elders didn't come as a chore, as she enjoyed the stories they told her about power-hungry warriors and legendary leaders. They explained that once in each young cat's life, they come to a cross road. One leads to StarClan in the end, while the other leads to the inescapable Dark Forest. Each cat had to choose which direction they wanted to go. This scared the young apprentice at first, but the more she thought about it the more it made sense, and the more exciting it seemed. She began to excel in her training, the fighting coming easily as if she had practiced each move for years and years. Her final assessment even seemed easier on her than it was on her siblings.
Warrior-ship; Fawnfeather shied away from those thoughts, from the stories that the elders had told her, and began to focus more on her new duties as a warrior. For the first moon or so, the many patrols seemed exhausting. Yet she found that going off on her own to hunt allowed her to clear her mind and rest up a little. But being alone also brought those thoughts back, and she began to wonder if she was supposed to choose how her life would play out now. She knew she was already becoming a good warrior, her battle training had really hardened her muscles and she was a skillful hunter most of the time. With a lot of extra work, she could indeed become someone to fear. Yet she was still young, and the Dark Forest stories scared her to death. She wanted the power, she already knew that. But she felt that she could wait it out, and do everything she could to prove that she could one day be an incredible leader.
Moons passed though, and she still became restless. She knew that power was out there, just waiting to be controlled. And eventually, Fawnfeather finalized her path of choice. She became a little shady, delving deeper into her mind and heart, and found what really lay there. Now, she continues her hunt, simply waiting. She continues to train herself, still tries to someone get in touch with a darker spirit that could possibly help her along the way. Yet she still manages to keep her thoughts to herself, buries so deep that sometimes she feels that they aren't there anymore. She lets each day pass, patrolling and hunting like usual, laying around with her fellow warrior to bask in the sun, sharing tongues and eating with her Clan members. She only wonders how long she can do it for.
